ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: Whether you’re driving into San Diego from Los Angeles or arriving from San Diego International Airport, your arrival to Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is quite impressive. Driving in, you are greeted by the two stunning towers hugging San Diego Bay. I arrived in the afternoon and was greeted with a swift check-in process. World of Hyatt loyalty program members have a dedicated check-in line that allows for shorter lines should you happen to arrive at peak hours. Your key grants you access to your floor, and you easily make your way to your sanctuary while in beautiful San Diego.

GUEST QUARTERS: Staying at this property will afford you spacious accommodations and, very likely, stunning views of the Pacific. I had a corner room in the north tower and never wanted to leave. My work space faced Coronado and a lounge area had a bird’s-eye view of The Embarcadero, where you’ll find the USS Midway Museum.

SERVICES/AMENITIES: While staying here, rest assured you’ll have everything you need at your disposal. If you need a quick bite, stop by Market One. Formal dining is certainly also available on property; you can even enjoy a drink with a view at Top of the Hyatt. On the fitness end, if you feel like a dip, you can enjoy the on-site pool. You will also find a space to get your workout in. The property is pet-friendly, so have a look at those fees if you want to travel with your furry friend. For those driving in your electric vehicle, you can even charge your car here!
